Thanks so much for not jumping ship when a Jesus-sounding (or as one friend of mine would say-“christian-ese”) comment on FB came up. It’s so important these days to stand our ground for Love. And God’s Love is so darn crazy, I am finding, that not only does it sometimes ruffle my feathers, but also those of others, including in the household of faith. Your encounter and dealing with that comment makes me think of when David’s brothers angrily engaged him and accused him of having ulterior motives, even accusing his person I think, calling him some pretty mean names/adjectives…meanwhile he was just bringing them bread and happened to see the situation with the Phillistines.
May God help us stand strong and move strong in Love.
