I’ve declared today, “Give a little love day.” Why? You ask. No particular reason.
Lately, it feels like the world is overwhelming. I have friends in health, marriage, you name it they’re in it crisis. So, instead of writing the most encouraging and enlightening blog post of your life on following your God-sized Dreams, I’m doing a giveaway!
Check out these beautiful hand-made necklaces and clutch. They’re from the craftsmen(women) at Fair Trade Friday.
If you haven’t heard of the Fair Trade Friday club yet, take a minute to click over to their site. They have some new boxes that I didn’t know they had! They’re not just pretty necklaces and earrings anymore. Girl Boss Box anyone? (We’re not affiliated, just big fans)
Leave me a comment below on how you are encouraging a fellow dreamer in your life and I’ll choose one winner.
I hope you win!

Thank you always for your writings. It is a most needed encouragement
Thank YOU, Marianne.
Alecia, just this post encouraged me this morning. Sometimes all we need to do is be cheery to feel cheery. And you truly did so beautifully with this post!
Awe, thanks Joanne. I believe this is truly the shortest post I’ve ever written! Sometimes we just need little ways to make us smile 🙂
Sometimes the encourager needs to be encouraged; this post encouraged me.
So glad you’re here, Nylse! A little encouragement goes a long way on the journey, eh?
Congratulations!! You were randomly chosen to win the necklaces. Email me at asimersky at gmail.com your info and I will get them sent out to you 🙂
The dreamer I am encouraging is myself. I recently went back to school to change careers….so I’m just a little older than most traditional college students and often times feel discouraged even though I am kicking butt in classes! I am a subscriber to this blog and it has helped keep me on track to pursue my dream of becoming a medical provider.
Wow, Alison! I’m encouraged just by reading the intensity of your desire to follow this dream God has put in your heart! It’s wonderful that you have found this place of encouragement!
You go girl!!! Kick butt and take names 🙂 You’re going to be an amazing doctor.
I was recently encouraged by a blogging friend when she came for coffee and brought me a collection of her original images in postcard size prints. I’m passing the blessing along by mailing them one by one to people who need a smile: a college kids who’s homesick; a woman in my church who is continually battling cancer; a friend with a newly empty nest. I don’t have magic words, but the image is lovely and at least they know I’m praying for them.
This is awesome, Michele. I know they will be deeply touched and encouraged by your thoughtfulness.
I am encouraging a dear friend who writes beautifully, to share her story. The end isn’t written yet, but she has seen such adversity and she has grown so much in her understanding of the love of the Lord, that I know it will bless many. I pray someday she’ll decide to share.
Good for you! Sharing our stories not only helps us heal, but others. I hope she decides to share it too.
I’m encouraging my sister by writing her notes daily to help her regain strength and courage as she waits for her home to be redone. She is living away in order to be away from the dust and noise of the reconstruction. Her faith is strong, but her body and soul feel anxious and lonely. I also call a friend who has had a devastating diagnosis about her late stage cancer. Little steps to help people can make a difference in their lives. I want to encourage others to not give up, but put their trust in the Lord, that He will give the best to those who wait on Him to renew their strength. This is they way to “give a little love” and to find satisfaction in serving others.
Absolutely. Little things done in great love make a HUGE difference. Thank you for being such a blessing to those around you.
Love this giveaway Alecia! I love to send friends encouraging notes, pray for them, and check in/listen in to their ideas, progress, challenges, and hopes.
You are a GREAT encourager! So thankful for you.
